6 hour Life drawing marathon/workshop Saturday 8th May 2010
and Evening classes



A 6 hour marathon Drawing session, Tutor led. The day will be split up into 2 parts the first being a series of drawing exercises concentrating on approaches and techniques, building confidence. The second part of the day will be a 3hr study from life. What has become very apparent is the lack of opportunity for people to work for extended periods of time from a Life Model. I have acquired the upstairs hall of The Methodist Centre in Chapel Allerton (which is beautiful). Where for a Limited amount of people (maximum 20) will work from 2 models for durations of up to 3hrs. (This is open to all abilities) Times 12-6pm

After the class I have booked tables for a meal and a drink at the local Weatherspoons Pub, The 3 Hulets, a perfect end to a perfect day. Please contact me to reserve your place.

Taught by Jon Wiltshire BaHons, PgCert, http://www.jonwiltshire.com/ Professional Artist and lecturer, the idea behind the sessions is to create an intimate, relaxed, fun environment where people can develop and explore drawing from life.


Designed to provide you with an introduction to the skills required to draw from a life model. You will work from a variety of models and study a range of poses. You will concentrate on drawing using a selection of different graphic materials. 

You will make a range of drawings which will be produced from poses of different durations. 

By the end of the course, you will be able to: 
make a line drawing 
make a tonal drawing 
have an awareness of the meaning of composition

Evening classes every Monday and Thursday Evening, 6.30pm- 9pm
